7. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
Cookies are small files placed on your device to help the Site function, understand usage patterns, and improve and secure your experience. Cookies do not usually identify you directly, but information we store may be linked to data obtained from cookies. We use the following categories:
7.1 Essential / Functional Cookies
Required for the Site to work properly and to remember your preferences. For example, they help pages load correctly, maintain secure sessions, and remember information you enter in forms so you don't have to retype it. These cannot be turned off through our tools without affecting Site functionality.
7.2 Analytics Cookies
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site — which pages are most popular, how visitors navigate, traffic sources, and where performance can be improved. Google Analytics may set cookies on your device and collect information such as pages visited, time on page, and general geographic location (derived from IP address). This data is processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy (policies.google.com/privacy). You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout).
7.3 Marketing / Targeting Cookies
While we do not host third-party ads on our Site, we may advertise our own Services on other websites. Some of those sites may use cookies to show StrategistHub ads relevant to your interests, recognize that you interacted with our content, and avoid showing repetitive ads.
7.4 Managing Cookies
Most browsers accept cookies automatically, but you can block or delete cookies (including third-party cookies) through your browser's "Help" or "Settings" menu. Where we display a cookie consent banner, you can accept, reject, or customize optional cookies at any time. Disabling certain cookies may affect Site functionality.
8. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy, including to provide our Services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Where we rely on legitimate interest and no business relationship develops, we retain information collected for analytics for no longer than is necessary for that purpose. When information is no longer needed, we securely delete or anonymize it. If you request deletion, we will comply unless a legal obligation requires us to retain the information.

Where required, such transfers are carried out subject to appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) and only as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy, so that your information remains protected consistent with applicable law, including the GDPR.
